My parents made the first choice that started my life and like most parents for the majority of my childhood they made choices to help me learn and grow into an adult. Becoming an adult seems like it just happens overnight whether you are ready or not. One day you are living at home with your parents eating a home cooked meal, the next day you have your own place and the weight of the world is now on your shoulders. As kids, we all can't wait to grow up and do our own things and buy whatever we want, but the truth is one day you will look back wishing to be young again with no responsibilities or bills to pay.
My life, like most peoples is filled with an abundance of choices, some good, some bad, some crazy, but all of which has gotten me to where I am today. I haven't had the perfect life, nobody has, but I can say that I'm proud of the person I have become. It's been a journey filled with marriages, divorces, heartbreak, romance, and lots of animals, but I wouldn't change a single thing. Even the bad choices I learned from have helped me to develop even better choices in the future.
I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late thirties, which was both a blessing and a curse. I wanted to know what was wrong with me, but never once thought that would end with a medical diagnoses of my brain being so different. My goals for this website are all over the place just like my brain lol, but honestly I do want to share parts of my life experiences with the world in hopes that maybe it could be of help to others or if nothing else at least make some people laugh.
The world is beautiful in so many ways, but there's also a lot of craziness, pain and everyone is of course searching for their dreams and purpose in it. Negativity can eat up your soul if you allow it and you can spread it like wild fires, so if you get the gift to wake up again tomorrow, I encourage you to choose kindness and be appreciative for another day of life.
